Starting from disability rather than treating it as an afterthought to building design has the potential to generate some truly radical, avant-garde and creative architectural practices.

Architecture is centrally concerned with both peoples needs and desires (in all their diversity). This can split open our common sense assumptions about how the world ‘normally’ works.

'Disability does not discriminate on the old or the young rather it creates a quite dark revelation to our traditional design approach...
