A
There is no deviation in quality and a high degree of precision is achieved. -strict quality control in the factory using cutting-edge technologies such as computers and robots.
B Simple and high quality of construction work is done on building site, because components are standardized.
C Construction period is shortened largely. - not to depend on workmen’s skill. little construction work on site. Customers can get their home earlier.
D
The reduction of the construction cost can be realized. - mass purchase of materials and production standardized construction work.
E
Valuable technologies and performances can be adopted easily. - Technologies and performances that are hard to adopt on construction site can be adopt easily in the factory, such as special processing and painting

Evaluation
Cost Consideration
1.
The embodied energy (including carbon sequestration) invested in the cultivation, logging, manufacturing transport and erection is usually lower than for non-renewable raw materials.
2.
as sustainable materials go, timber frame construction has the lowest CO2 cost of any commercial building method. Compared to steel and concrete, the methods used to harvest, produce and transport timber are less detrimental to the environment.
3.
Unlike other building techniques, timber frame construction allows for off-site manufacture. Building a house in this way has great environmental benefits as it reduces waste on site. In a factory environment, waste levels are much easier to manage and untreated waste-timber can be reused as fuel in our wood-burning boilers.

4.
Timber is one of the few natural building material. This has a lot of advantages. Generally, timber is not toxic, does not leak chemical vapour into the building and is safe to handle and touch. It also means that as timber ages, it does so naturally and doesn’t break down into environmentally damaging materials.
5.
In reducing the amount of energy used to heat and operate a building, insulation is very important. Timber is a natural insulator and can reduce energy needs especially when it is used in windows, doors and floors.
