Our community engagement event consisted of us conducting interviews on the residents of Stretford encouraging passers by to actively imagine what they would like to see added to Stretford through sticking customizable building templates to a street elevation. This worked to build up a picture of what residents would like to see in their town and ask investigate the level of demand for various facilities and atmospheres. There were three set questions, relating to the clouds they would add to our 1:1 model’s fishing line, that would be a key instigator in pursuing a deeper conversation about Stretford. The culmination of this information led to the practice producing a proposal for a masterplan of the area  and a snapshot story The following images are all snapshots taken from the evolving elevation, comments have been added to narrate individual views and conversations and images were moved around during public conversations, usually inspiring new ideas or bringing to life old memories that would address almost all of the concerns and opinions of the residents. From this we were able to choose aspects of the snapshot stories that we would investigate further as a means of forming a project that would endorsed by the residents of Stretford.
