Materials...Who cares?

When I began to consider and wonder about materiality I was not particularly specific I saw no need to be and boyyyyyy was I wrong. If I wanted to develop a community for the disenfranchised it would have to be at least habitable - what makes this building stand? Paper...What type of paper? Looking back on my scientific days in high school it was clear that there were reflectors and absorbers of heat, materials which refracted, reflected or allowed the majority of light to penetrate it. To develop this heightened sensual experience especially harnessing of sound again makes materiality a key issue due to acoustic comfort and performance levels
